I have been photographing professionally since 2017! I am a wife to my husband Zach, and a mom to our daughter Blair. We are a family who thrives at home - hanging out in our big back yard, cooking dinner in most nights of the week, and just plain spending quality time together. I love going on camping trips exploring our beautiful state, jeep rides with the top down, and decorating our new home that's nestled in the family apple orchard. I'm organized, yet laid-back; free spirited, yet grounded; and outgoing, yet introverted. I create images that feel completely like you.
As a photographer, I create a relaxed and authentic environment that helps bring out your natural expressions, all while capturing the true personality of your family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your wardrobe visually sets the tone for your images. While I want everyone to be comfortable in their session, I have some tried and true suggestions for clients who want my signature light, bright, airy feel for their session.
For the most part, light and flowy fabrics tend to look really nice on moms. A nice shirt or sweater with jeans can look really nice for fall sessions as well. A solid or plaid shirt with jeans, khakis or linen pants make dads look put together, and light neutrals (both solids and patterns) look lovely on kids.
My easy tip for coordinating your outfits is 1 print, 1 solid, 1 texture (chunky knit, corduroy, etc), repeat! Stick with 3-4 colors.
Family sessions are delivered within 3 weeks of your session date via an online gallery, often sooner!
Mini sessions include 5 digital images, with the option to purchase more. Full portrait sessions typically include 200-300 images.
Yes! You can order high quality prints and products via your online gallery's shopping feature - framed prints, heirloom albums, loose fine art prints and more!
I shoot a mix of classic portraits and natural lifestyle moments. If you prefer one over the other, please let me know ahead of time. My personal favorite images come from natural, unposed interactions so be prepared for lots of snuggles, hugs and looking at your people!
Michigan weather changes SO quickly. About one day out from your session I'll check the forecast. If it's calling for more than a 40% chance of rain during your outdoor session, I usually recommend we find a new date and/or time
I guarantee that your images will remain in an online gallery for at least a year. While your galleries may stay up longer than that, I cannot guarantee it. Once your galleries have been delivered, I highly recommend downloading all high resolution images to several devices.
