Laura and Jesse’s wedding day was such a refreshing take on the traditional wedding. Their closest family drove up from Chicago and other surrounding areas to celebrate their marriage at the Apple Blossom rental property. Jesse’s 90 year old grandpa even flew in from Ecuador for the occasion. The two of their families grew closer over the weekend and it was so fun getting to know some of them. Even though it rained most of the day, the light poured into the house where the violin and cello played as the food was prepared in front of the guests. My favorite part of the day (that I hope my other couples start to do too) was when Laura and Jesse went down to the cabin after their ceremony to be alone and really take in and enjoy the day.
