When I got to the Revel Center, Kristie was getting ready with her girls and she was so chill. Everything was on track for a perfect wedding day. At the same time, Nick was getting dressed with the guys and of course, their dog, Porter. He’s a black German Shepherd just like my dog, Georgia, so I have a soft spot for him! I love how he was so interested in Nick getting ready for his big day. He even joined in for the groomsmen photos. 🙂 Kristie finished up with her hair and makeup, her mom helped her put on her dress and jewelry and it was time to see Nick for their first look! On the way there, Kristie was saying how she wasn’t nervous at all and she was just ready. They met at nearby Riverside Park under the willow and it was so beautiful. The lighting was so great and I couldn’t get over how perfect they looked together! Their ceremony was back at the Revel Center under the twinkle lights. One of the coolest parts about the day was it was also Nick’s parent’s 28th wedding anniversary. They got married on the same day in 1991 – how cool is that?! At the reception, they had their own cake with the topper “we still do” and had their first dance, again, 28 years later. We also can’t forget the little pit stop we made to Founders for celebratory wedding day clinks! Congratulations, Kristie and Nick! <3
