I met Karly and Dennis over drinks last winter and we instantly clicked! I was so excited to learn more about Karly and Dennis, their shared love for golf, and their wedding vision. Over a year later, and lots of planning and DIY-ing, their classy and elegant golf club wedding came to life. It was an absolutely stunning day from start to finish. Karly and Dennis met while playing college golf, got engaged on a golf course, and had their engagement session at a golf course, so it was fitting that they chose Interlachen as their backdrop! Dennis and his groomsmen wore black suits with black bow ties, perfectly complimenting the bridesmaids long light blue dresses. These colors were perfectly complemented with pops of greenery and gold.
The day was filled with so many happy tears. During Karly’s first look with her dad, she gifted him an embroidered napkin that included an old “lunchbox napkin” tradition they shared when she was young and it was so sweet. Dennis is from Sweden, and unfortunately travel to the US is restricted at this time, and they were unable to make it. Karly and Dennis found fun ways to incorporate them as much as possible, including face-timing while getting ready, a video speech from his brother, friends and family dancing and celebrating on video, and my personal favorite – large cutouts of their faces to include in photos throughout the day! It was so fun and I’m glad they found a way to make the best of it. Congratulations Karly and Dennis!! Wishing you much happiness on and off the course!
