Driving to Melissa’s parent’s house Saturday morning, I was so happy. The sky had just cleared up a bit and the sun was peeking out. A welcomed change from the early morning and all these rainy weekends we’ve been having lately! The mood was high when I arrived and the girls were finishing up with hair and makeup. It wasn’t long until we were headed to Fountain Street Church for Melissa and Charlie’s first look. His reaction to seeing Melissa for the very first time was so emotional – happy, anxious, grateful, and alllll the feels I’m sure. Their ceremony took place inside the beautiful church where Melissa’s other siblings also got married. The Ballroom at McKay Tower was the perfect place for their reception and it was decorated so simple and elegant. Even though it was drizzly in the evening, we made it up to the rooftop to recreate their gorgeous “pick up” pose we did at their engagement session. It was an amazing day all around and I had a smile on my face all day being with their friends and family. Congratulations Melissa and Charlie! <3
