It was so FUN working with Ashley and Dan and their closest friends and family on their wedding day. They were married at the gorgeous Pine Knob Mansion in Clarkston, Michigan with the most beautiful building and grounds. The light was incredible, their portraits were stunning and everything went as planned, even after all the work it took to change their wedding plans. The day started up in the gorgeous getting ready room with light flooding into an all white room. I was greeted by Ashley in her fancy getting ready robe and we took some portraits of her in that once she was done getting ready. It wasn’t long until it was time for Ashley and Dan’s first look. It’s evident these two are made for each other. They thought of all of the extra details to make their guests feel welcome and cozy at their reception, including a cigar bar, blankets “to have and to hold in case you get cold”, and flip flops “in case your feet are sore, grab a pair and dance some more”. Ashley and Dan, I know you two will have a marriage as beautiful as your wedding – congratulations!
